A fire road closes for two reasons: the fire is on it, or the fire crossed it. Either way, the eight-hour drive you planned around Tuesday morning is no longer a plan on Tuesday afternoon. That’s the part that catches business owners off guard during a Spokane-area fire season — not the danger, the logistics. Why the Road Closure Is the Real Cost, Not the Fire
Fire risk shows up in most operating budgets. What flying solves is the middle ground: people, tools, parts, and time-critical freight that fit in a turboprop and need to be 300 miles away today.
That band is wider than most business owners would think, and it covers most of what can actually strand your operations during a fire event.
